Welcome (assignment)

For this weeks assignment I'm to post a welcome statement.  So... Welcome.  These blogging assignments are painfully difficult for me, because I'm a very private person and don't enjoy putting my business and or thoughts out for all to know about.  In light of that, please forgive me if my post seem to be a bit dry.  I'll do the best I can for these assignments.
